Mark moves to Fort Worth to start a new job at Mercy Culture Church. They meet for the first time working in the communications department together.

Mark invites Cheyenne to his birthday party as a friend. Cheyenne attends as a work place associate… At the end of Mark’s Birthday party, his friends gather to pray over him and Cheyenne prophetically sings over Mark what she hears the Lord saying. Mark takes notes and asks God if he can date her. God says no… and keeps saying no even though Mark keeps asking.

Right before taking a road trip to Austin to intercede for the passing of SB14 (A bill protecting Children from sex change operations), Cheyenne looks at Mark and says “we are just friends right?” to which Mark said “absolutely” (Because God had said no to anything more).

God released Mark to pursue Cheyenne (right person, wrong time previously) so Mark stops Cheyenne in her office and says “I know we said we were just friends buttttt I don’t wanna be just friends anymore. It would be an honor to pursue your heart romantically.” Cheyenne promptly puts down her backpack and says “This is weird, because I thought it would feel weird, and it doesn't. Let me pray about it."

Cheyenne comes to Mark and say “God gave me an assignment before you asked me and said I cannot date anyone until it’s finished. It will take a while, maybe till the end of the year. Wait if you want or don’t. You are welcome to date other people if you want. If you are seemingly single when I am done, I’m interested to see how you would steward a date.” – Mark said “cool.”

Mark waited…

In the church parking lot, Mark and Cheyenne had an honest conversation. Cheyenne updated Mark that her project was still not done and asked Mark not to wait for her. Mark looked back at Cheyenne and said “this is not to add any pressure, but I absolutely am waiting for you.” – Cheyenne swoons, and rolled up her window while Mark blushed and ran away.

Mark waited some more…

Mark and Cheyenne together attend two separate parties of two mutual friends on the same day. Mark has a great time. Cheyenne realizes she really likes Mark and wants to date him, but doesn’t feel God release her to say anything to Mark yet.

Mark and Cheyenne meet to share what they hear the Lord saying. – MARK: "I believe God is saying I should no longer pursue you." CHEYENNE: "I believe God is saying this relationship is holy, and to make sure not to treat what is holy in a common way. To do this, we need to consecrate it to Him by not talking through the end of the year." She told Mark that in all their interactions, she noticed God was slowly turning her heart towards Mark. – After the meeting, Mark realized God was actually speaking about the season of not talking and the exact words God said made more sense in the context of what He also said to Cheyenne. God had spoken the exact words “I am turning your hearts to one another” a year prior to this conversation, and Cheyenne confirmed what God had already told him. Mark doesn’t tell Cheyenne that because they were not talking and he honored the boundary of consecration.

Mark and Cheyenne do not communicate, at all. – Justine tries to trick Mark into telling her if he loves Cheyenne…

Mark asks Cheyenne on a date at 6:29AM on January 1st – Cheyenne finished the assignment God gave her. – Mark and Cheyenne meet. Mark asks Cheyenne to be his girlfriend. Cheyenne hears God to wait to move forward until her mentors give the green light.

Cheyenne waits… – Mark waits some more…

Mark and Cheyenne officially become a couple! – Mark and Cheyenne go to visit Mark’s family, they love her. – On the first weekend of being a couple, Cheyenne looks at Mark and says “I thought I needed a long time to date you… I don’t.”

Mark and Cheyenne go to visit Cheyenne’s family, they love him. – Mark asks Jeffery for his blessing.

Mark asks Cheyenne to marry him. – Cheyenne screams "yes!" – The day they got engaged is the 3 year anniversary of the Lord delivering Mark from perversion and homosexuality.

Mark and Cheyenne will take their first mission trip together and go to the Middle East to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with one of the most unreached people groups in the world. Part of their assignment will be to lead prayer and worship sets in a prayer room located in the heart of the capital city of the country.

Mark and Cheyenne get married! – And hopefully you will be there to celebrate.
